Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how GAC Advisory LLC ("we," "us," the "Academy") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the Cannabis Accounting Academy website or purchase its products. We aim to collect only what we need to operate the Academy and serve you well.

Information We Collect

  • Information you provide: your name and email address when you join a waitlist, contact us, or purchase a product; and any message content you send us.
  • Purchase information: processed by our checkout provider — we receive confirmation and order details but do not store your full payment-card numbers ourselves.
  • Usage information: basic technical and analytics data (e.g. pages visited, device/browser type) collected automatically if analytics are enabled.

How We Use It

  • To deliver the products you purchase and provide access to materials;
  • To notify you when enrollment opens (if you join a waitlist);
  • To respond to your questions and provide support;
  • To send updates or offers you've opted into (you can unsubscribe anytime);
  • To understand and improve how the site is used.

Payments

Purchases are handled by a third-party processor ([Gumroad / Stripe]). Your payment details are provided directly to that processor and handled under its own privacy policy and security standards. We recommend reviewing the processor's policy at [link].

Email & Marketing

If you join a waitlist or opt into updates, we use your email to contact you about the Academy. Waitlist and email handling may be managed through a third-party service ([e.g. your email/form provider]). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Cookies & Analytics

The site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, if enabled, analytics. [Describe analytics tool, e.g. privacy-friendly analytics, or Google Analytics, if used.] You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect site functionality.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Academy (checkout, email, hosting, analytics), and only as needed for them to perform those services — or where required by law.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the products and meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below. [If you serve EU/UK or California residents, confirm GDPR / CCPA-specific language with a professional.]

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Academy is a professional-education product intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here.
